Inky red/purplish fruit, rose petal, spice, blood orange and leather race out of the glass, lifted by attractive floral notes that continue to open with time in the glass. In her generous way, Eleanor showed all of us that each life is to be celebrated. With this estate wine, we continue to celebrate hers. We blend limited amounts of wine from our Octave vineyard into this very special bottling.
Elegant and textured, with dark berry fruit, currant, dark chocolate and hints of violet and sage, all balanced with medium tannins and moderate acidity. Drink now or enjoy the rewards of cellaring this wine for the next several years.
