Winery Notes: Deep ruby-red. Beautiful bouquet of Bing cherry cobbler, plus hints of woodsmoke, allspice, anise, black tea and dried flowers. The palate is broad and fleshy with red berry compote flavors and blackberry cassis. This multifarious and seductive beauty finds herself opening up after 30-60 minutes of decanting to reveal additional notes of violets, smoked bacon and toasted bread. All ultimately give way to silky tannins on the finish with a sweet, mouthcoating intensity and mineral lift.  Rich and concentrated, it is accentuated by layers of silky ripe cherries. This is a wonderfully textured wine with great acid balance that should give this youthful Pinot Noir life for many years to come. Drink 3-15+ years.

The 2007 Pinot Noir Cuvee Giselle displays an intriguing aromatic array of smoke, mineral, earth notes, spice box, and black fruits. Layered and ripe on the palate, it has a smooth texture, enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years, and a lengthy, pure finish. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2011 to 2019. -Jay Miller - Wine Advocate Oct/2009

Velvety, with a nubby feel to the tannins around a generous core of plum, berry and spice flavor. Lingers easily and effectively, demanding another sip. Drink now through 2015. 290 cases made.                                                              “Harvey Steiman - Wine Spectator  Dec/2009

Deeper ruby-red. Pungent cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by deep floral and mineral qualities. Refreshingly bitter and precise on the palate, with sweet kirsch and black raspberry flavors and a late note of brown spices. Finishes with very good persistence and a lingering floral note.
